Our Story
Growing up I would watch my nana (The Cake Lady) write her cake recipes on anything she could find. Sometimes she would grab a bill or piece of cardboard to capture her thoughts quickly. Her recipes were something special I enjoyed making with her. After her passing in 2014 and as I got older, I gained more of a sweet tooth and found a love for baking in my spare time just as she had.
During the pandemic I found a new hobby that helped me relax during pharmacy school...candle-making.
2020 is where my two favorite hobbies combined, which is when I decided to create The Luxe Recipe.
